The first ACD product, though unofficial at the time, the Crusader Class
One, was released in the spring of 1944. Throughout the late-40s, 50s and
early 60s, several other products were created in the Crusader range.
But the 1970s bred a new window of opportunity for cutlery, and we had to consider the archetypes of the Swinging Sixties to be behind us, and look to a bright new future. But, the business was struggling, and we didn't know why...
The counter-cultural revolution of the late 1960s had brought new found freedoms and awakening to many people, ourselves included, but with this new power, came a lack of responsibility and caring for mankind. Facing insurmountable business losses, Gerry X. Meatfist began his study into the human psyche, discovering social ills at play, and later developing the technology and techniques to locate, defeat and liberate these ill minds.
From the simple beginnings, to the technology now known as Ubiquity and the embodiment of these ills in the tomes on shavery and beardoism, the Advanced Cutlery Division has been a vital ally in the future of our planet.
